Basically, all/most content from SW4-II will be in Empires. Thanks for telling us this months before SW4-II's English release, Koei!Samurai Warriors 4 is getting and Empires version, which adds more of a strategic element to the hack-and-slash title, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita, Koei Tecmo announced in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. Thanks, HachimaSamurai Warriors 4: Empires will add more strategic elements than ever, Koei claim, including a new “Resident Domestic Administrations” feature. 引用自 :4-II has a bunch that comprise of 65 stages. There's also the weapon treasure hunt.Only thing missing is the ambition mode of DW8XL or chronicle mode in 4-II ( heard it's replaced or removed completely). The extremely high price either SW4 games will have on the PC platform is also a annoying factor.
Koei Tecmo has today released screenshots and information on one of the new features in Samurai Warriors 4 Empires: the Castle. The Castle provides players with a single, intuitive dashboard for.
So they got rid of Chronicle mode for stupid forever castle mode?! Dude, that mode is a FREAKING CHORE!Also, how are there 65 stages in SW4-II?
Does each 'important enough for their own story' character have their own stages or something? Because if so, they would LITERALLY have to never have repeated once! I also don't like the idea of playing the whole game as just 13 characters. It's like everyone else is their sidekick or something. 引用自 :4-II has a bunch that comprise of 65 stages.

If you find chronicle mode a freaking chore, then empire will most likely be a freaking chore lol.Since you own DW8XL, it's same where maps are reused ad nauseum. You just reuse various characters and clear them.
The same as SW4 where you select from a list of characters to use on that particular stage. DW or SW are all based on VERY abridged story. Well then there's the 'free mode'Either way you can visit youtube for gameplay videos.

It skips like 6 years at a time between levels sometimes. I just don't like that the only way I can play as most characters in SW4-II is through Free Mode.
To me Free Mode is the mode you play when you've leveled everyone up after playing them in story and the Chronicle mode equiv. Not so you can play as the 'characters who aren't important enough to have their own story or faction.' XL, E and II exclusive characters are an exception, however.
